Please join us on each 1st, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays from 5-7pm and each 2nd Thursday from 9am-3pm to volunteer at Take My Hand Ministries to assist with organizing and distributing food and clothing.

We will meet at Hyland Heights Baptist church located at 11452 Wards Rd Rustburg, VA 24588.

Coming from Lynchburg on Wards Rd make a left into English Tavern Rd, pull into the first entrance to the parking lot behind the church.  You will see the food pantry building to the left.  Park in front of the grassy area between the food pantry building and the parking lot.

Door to door food collection for the needy.

Sunday April 3rd after church and lunch, we will have a work day to help the owners of the building get some things fixed and cleaned up.  A great opportunity to serve and help others.  Hope to see you there.

This Sunday evening the 13th, a pre-Valentine’s Day dinner with some fun and games.  It will be held at the church for all couples of Discover Church.

We will be Christmas Caroling around town again this year on Sunday, December 12, starting at 5pm. We will meet at Darren and Donna’s before carpooling to our caroling destinations. When finished, we’ll return to Darren and Donna’s for a chili pot luck supper.
