Kids Time

(1st -5th grade) (Sunday mornings)

Kids Time is our children’s Sunday School program.  We at Discover Church say “Let kids worship, like KIDS!” Therefore we use Lifeways “Worship Kidstyle.”

Worship KidStyle brings Bible stories to life and the day’s truth home in a way kids will understand. School-age children will watch attention-holding life application videos that speak to them in their own language and show them how God’s Word relates to their lives!

Men’s group

Beginning the first Thursday of September, the men’s group is starting a study through the book “The Resolution for Men.”  If fulfilling God’s role for you is important, being a godly leader, husband, and father, then this would be a great study for you.  We meet on Thursday nights at 7pm  at the home of one of our members.  We would love to see you there as we meet weekly.   Childcare is provided.   If you have any questions, or would like to know where we’re meeting, please email Darren at darren@discoverchurchnow.com.

Women’s group

Starting January 17th, the women are beginning a study using the video series by Beth Moore entitled “Mercy Triumphs.”  If you are interested in getting together with other women to do this study, they are meeting Thursday nights at 7pm at one of the members home.   Childcare is provided.   If you have any question, or would like to know where we’re meeting, please email Darren at darren@discoverchurchnow.com.

Sunday Morning Adult Study

On Feb 17, we began a verse by verse study through the book of Ecclesiastes.  Probably a book that you have never studied before.  As always, we have a great time and there is plenty of interaction.  This class starts at 9:30; all the snacks and coffee will be ready.  If you usually come to S.S., come on back for this one; if you  don’t, this is a great opportunity to get a little more involved at Discover, while getting to know some other folks as well.  And of course, bettering yourself in your Christian walk.  Lots of great discussion, come and join in.
